Royal Enfield finds home with New Zealand’s oldest motorcycle dealership

Royal Enfield New Zealand has appointed McIver & Veitch, New Zealand’s oldest motorcycle dealership, as an official Royal Enfield dealer for Dunedin.

Founded in Dunedin back in 1932, McIver & Veitch was the product of two friends with a passion for motorcycles.

Another 93 years on, the third-generation family owned business is still very proud of its significant heritage. 

“Although we are grounded in our history, we continue to be excited by the premium motorcycle brands we represent and the future of our dynamic industry,” they say.

Following a similar theme, Royal Enfield is recognised as the world’s oldest continuous production motorcycle brand.

The brand’s focus on heritage, craftsmanship, and community reportedly mirrors McIver & Veitch’s own philosophy of “putting riders first.”
