The Sealion 7 has been charged by some of the cleanest electricity in the world, reinforcing that the future of transportation isn’t just about the vehicles we drive but also about the energy that powers them.”
What Makes the BYD Sealion 7 Stand Out?
The BYD Sealion 7 is set to shake up the New Zealand EV market with two variants designed to cater to different driving needs:
🔹 Premium Model – Rear-wheel drive (RWD) with a 230kW electric motor producing 380Nm of torque. It sprints from 0-100kph in 6.7 seconds.
🔹 Performance Model – All-wheel drive (AWD) with an impressive 390kW motor generating 690Nm of torque. This version rockets from 0-100kph in just 4.5 seconds.
