After beginning their hugely popular run in 1999 no other truck manufacturer has been able to push Isuzu Trucks from the top spot but they are determined to work hard to keep that spot. To recognise 13 consecutive years on top Isuzu Trucks rewarded 2013 truck buyers with an added incentive. Buy a truck from Isuzu and go into the draw to drive away in a brand new Holden Colorado LTZ 4×2 Ute.

Isuzu General Manager, Oliver Foote, says this competition was just one way of saying how much they have appreciated the support shown by their customers over the last 13 years.

“We have worked hard to ensure our customers understand how important they are to us by providing top quality, reliable and profitable trucks so drivers can feel confident in their investment,” Mr Foote said.

The prize package value of more than $650,000 was open to all Isuzu Truck customers who purchased a truck before 30 April and registered it by 30 June 2013.

“Not only did our customers get to buy a great Isuzu truck but they also went into the draw to drive away in a brand new Colorado LTZ Ute, that’s 13 lucky customers from throughout New Zealand.

The official prize draw took place at Isuzu Trucks head office in Auckland on Wednesday 10 July by Justice of the Peace, Ross Bennetts. 13 customers were drawn along with some alternatives, in case for whatever reason the customer would not be able to accept the prize. The dealers who will be handing over a brand new Colorado LTZ to their customers are CAL Auckland; CAL Tauranga; Deakin Isuzu, Hawkes Bay; Moller Johnson Isuzu, New Plymouth; Blackwells Isuzu, Christchurch and Cooke Howlison Isuzu, Dunedin.

“I would like to thank our Isuzu Truck customers for their support over the years and especially congratulate our 13 lucky Colorado LTZ winners. Rest assured we will continue to provide the best possible product to strengthen and support business opportunities,” said Mr Foote.

YTD Isuzu Trucks is currently number one in light and medium trucks, number three in heavy trucks and number one over all with 23.7% market share, more than 10.6% ahead of its nearest competitor. Isuzu Trucks recorded a 39.93% market share for June 2013 and the company is confident that its success is based on quality, reliability, confidence and trust in the brand.
