Audi A1 experience on now

Audi is launching its new city car, the A1, which will take on MINI head to head for parking spaces in the high street.

The best news though is you’re 1nvited! (see what we did there? Ok, that’s Audi’s idea, not ours). Anyways, if like us, you’re into handbrakes and J-turns in empty car parks (and let’s face it, who isn’t?), Audi’s central Auckland launch event will at least save you an angry letter from Wilson car parking.

To establish the A1 as a fun and funky wee thing, you can bring the family down to 125 Fanshawe street this weekend (Saturday 20th November, 10:00am – 7:30pm and Sunday 21st November 10:00am – 6:00pm) and get New Zealand’s top drivers including A1GP driver, Earl Bamber to pedal you around a custom-built stunt course.

There are also funky A1 pods, which are sort of like chill out areas in inner-city night clubs, without all the prats.

It’ll cost you nothing and trust us, it’s worth it. What else we’re you going to do, the lawns?
