Earl Bamber scored a lights to flag win in the third Toyota Racing Series counter at Timaru today.
The Wanganui teenager led Andy Knight across the line by 0.82 of a second after a processional race at the sharp end of the field.
The gap had been around the one second mark for most of the race, with Knight closing in occasionally and Bamber edging away again.
The largest margin had been around the 1.3 second mark.
Michael Burdett finished third, ahead of Dominic Storey.
