German driver Adrian Suiti will stand trial at the end of January after allegedly assaulting and injuring Renault F1 team executive Eric Lux, who is part owner of team Lotus.
Suiti reportedly attacked Lux with a glass in a nightclub fight in China, stating the injuries caused were unintentional after only wanting to spill his drink over Lux. Instead, Lux required two dozed stitches in his neck.
Suiti will appear in the Munich district court from January 30-31. He is now without a team for next season.
