The 224 kW/440Nm Focus revives the RS high-performance line and has more prominent wheelarches, a wider track, and revised, deeper side sill mouldings and unique front and rear bumpers.
At the rear a large venturi tunnel and rear spoiler broadcast the car’s performance potential. Ford is building the RS in only three exterior colours: Ultimate Green, Performance Blue and Frozen White.
Ford of Europe CEO, John Fleming, says there’s been “a huge amount of interest in this model from the loyal army of Ford RS enthusiasts as well as potential customers who have never owned an RS before.”
There are no current plans yet to market the car here.
