Four-door Lamborghini on the cards

First revealed at the 2008 Paris Auto Show, the Lamborghini Estoque is a luxury sedan that will target the markets of the Aston Martin Rapide, Porsche Panamera, Maserati Quattroporte and Ferrari 612 Scaglietti.

Lamborghini says it hopes the Estoque will boost falling sales for the marque, believing it will attract new customers to the four-seat sporty model.

“A third model would fit Lamborghini very well,” said Lamborghini boss Stephan Winkelmann. “A four-door car would be a very feasible approach.”

It is expected the engine will be a 5.2-litre V10 which will be positioned up front, differing from the Gallardo and Murcielago.
