The Toyota Dealer of the Year is the supreme award presented to the dealership which achieves overall excellence in dealer operations, maintains market leadership and has top dealership facilities.
The Hawkes Bay Toyota group comprises its main dealership in Hastings, and branches in Napier, Greenmeadows, and Taupo.
This is the first time Hawkes Bay Toyota have been in the finalist group for Dealer of the Year and Chief Executive Officer Angus Helmore puts it down to a complete team effort from an experienced and stable team.
“We have great teams operating at each of our branches with everyone totally focused on being number one,” he said.
”Even during tough market conditions and difficult economic times we have kept a positive attitude and remained focussed on achieving a high level of service.”
At the awards, TRC Toyota Group were selceted to receive the supreme award for Customer Satisfaction, for the second year running.
TRC Toyota of Fielding, Masterton and Levin were chosen as Toyota’s top dealership in delivering excellent customer satisfaction for 2009, winning the President’s award.
And, Lexus of Wellington was awarded top honours when they were announced as the Lexus Dealer of the Year for 2009.
The Lexus Dealer of the Year award recognises the premier Lexus dealership in New Zealand in sales of new and certified pre-owned vehicles, dealer operating standards and customer satisfaction.
