The upgraded model year 2013 Captiva range introduces the LTZ Captiva 5, packed full of extras including leather-appointed interior trim, heated front seats, eight-way electric adjustable driver’s seat, 19-inch alloy wheels (4) and rain-sensing wipers.

Captiva 5 LTZ pricing starts from $42,990 Recommended Retail Price (RRP) for Holden’s two-wheel drive 2.4 litre four-cylinder petrol engine variant, and $47,990 for the all-wheel drive 2.2 litre turbo diesel model. Both models are equipped with Holden’s new Gen II six-speed automatic transmission, while Holden’s entry level Captiva 5 will be re-badged LT.

The revised Captiva range offers two new exterior paint colours – Snowflake Pearl and Sandy Beach, and a new final drive ratio on all diesel models delivers improved drive quality.

Holden New Zealand General Manager of Marketing, Marnie Samphier said the upgrades would only increase the already widespread appeal of Captiva.
“More and more New Zealanders expect a greater list of specifications and features when it comes to choosing their SUV and this is what they are getting with the new Captiva,” Ms. Samphier said.

“The LTZ trim level now comes complete with leather interior trim, 19-inch alloy wheels, rain-sensing wipers and heated front seats to Captiva 5 which is stunning value on top of an already great vehicle.

“We have had the opportunity to provide upgrades to an incredibly popular vehicle and that’s what we have done with improvements to our new generation auto transmissions and diesel final drive ratio, strengthening Holden’s presence in the SUV market.

“Customers now have more choices than ever before and we are thrilled to be able to give them even more value for their hard earned money.”
Holden’s model year 2013 Captiva range is set to go on sale in May 2013.
