The 2015 Trax will retain the fresh and edgy exterior styling that established its popularity during the last 12 months, although there will be some subtle new changes to further enhance the small SUV’s appeal.

The 1.4L turbocharged Trax has been upgraded with the addition of an elegantly positioned sunroof as standard. Sitting on the shoulder of the front seats the sunroof allows light to pour into the car, giving the driver a greater sense of space and natural light.

New 18 inch, five spoke alloy wheels in a darker, carbon grey colour have also been added to the design, emphasizing the strong, muscular stance the Trax is known for. The wheels will come as standard on LTZ.

The Trax continues to win fans with its unique vehicle styling and strong design features. The small SUV’s powerful stance begins at the heart of the Holden lion on the pronounced front grille, from which sweeping design lines run over the fenders, right through to the rear of the car, giving it a look that says it’s always ready for action.

In keeping with its contemporary design language, the Trax interior has clean and minimalist styling throughout, with the award winning MyLink being the crowning feature. Surfaces are smooth and polished, with all of the quirks and signatures that give the car its distinctive personality.

Director of design Richard Ferlazzo said that the styling and changes to 2015 Trax are indicative of the needs of today’s small SUV driver.

“The simple, elegant design and its ability to keep the driver connected at all times ensures the 2015 Trax perfectly suits the needs and expectations of the modern, urban driver,” says Mr Ferlazzo.

“The addition of the new Blaze Red colour and sunroof are features that give the car the extra ounce of style that it deserves, and when combined with either of the two engines, will provide an excellent drive.”
