While some car makers churn out 4000 cars in a week, Lamborghini is celebrating its 4000th Murcielago.
And it’s no ordinary Murcielago either… it’s an LP 670-4 SuperVeloce, the lightweight, high-powered version of the range-topping supercar. Only 350 of the SV-series Murcielagos are to be built.
The previous V-12 supercar from Lamborghini – the Diablo – sold just 2900 units over an 10-year run, a 38% improvement for the Murcielago.
The 4000th car will be delivered to China, a growing region that reportedly sees about 25% of all Lamborghinis built.
