At the Show, Mazda will exhibit the Mazda SKY-G direct injection petrol engine, the Mazda SKY-D clean diesel engine and the efficient Mazda SKY Drive automatic transmission.
Mazda says both engines “offer improved eco-friendliness and torque thanks to optimised combustion efficiency”.
The Mazda Kiyora is powered by the new SKY-G 1.3-litre petrol engine, and uses the six-speed SKY-Drive automatic transmission.
The Kiyora reportedly achieves fuel economy of 3.1L/100km and the compact body is 100 kilograms lighter than Mazda’s current mass production model in the same segment.
