Mazda to debut Minagi concept

M azda will hold the world premiere of its new Minagi compact crossover SUV concept car at the 2011 Geneva motor show, running 1-13 March, 2011.

The Mazda Minagi concept embraces Mazda’s new SKYACTIV technologies and its new design theme, KODO – Soul of Motion. Mazda says the Minagi concept is the forerunner to the launch of its upcoming next-generation products and symbolises the evolution of the Mazda brand as it begins a new era.

Andrew Clearwater, Managing Director of Mazda New Zealand, believes the Minagi is a significant step forward for the Mazda design team.

“With SUV crossover vehicles growing in popularity, Mazda is delivering a crossover concept that is not only stylish but has excellent fuel economy and a minimal impact on the environment. We expect the Minagai to be very well received,” says Clearwater.
