Highlights of the staunch-looking 2011 Chrysler 300C include a new grille, extra chrome, LED-infused headlights, a rakish windscreen, and sculpted bodywork.

Inside, the cabin has improved leather quality, and added details such as blue ambient lighting and real wood trim give it an air of elegance. New options include heated / cooled Nappa leather seats, a two-piece sunroof, and Uconnect Touch with an 8.4-inch screen.

Under the hood, two engines will be available. The entry-level 3.6-litre V6 will produce 292hp (218kW) and 260 lb-ft (353Nm) of torque, while the 5.7-litre HEMI V8 will crank out 370hp (276kW) and 395 lb-ft (536Nm).

Both will be connected to a five-speed automatic which sends power to the rear wheels (all-wheel drive will be optional).

The new 300C is expected to hit showrooms in late 2011.
