The latest evolution of the Fiat Ducato has arrived in New Zealand. The new generation of this hugely successful light commercial vehicle and the world’s most popular motorhome base has notched up 2.6 million global sales since it was launched in 1981.
In its latest incarnation the Ducato builds on its unique reputation for durability, reliability, technical sophistication and drivability, not to mention it’s awarding-winning to deliver efficiently and effectively.
“The Fiat Ducato is the ideal work place,” says David Smitherman, CEO of Fiat Chrysler New Zealand. “It delivers in all areas, not just with a wide, easily accessible and spacious load area, but also with a safe, comfortable and business-like cab for the driver and crew as well as low running costs and excellent durability making the Ducato a winner on company balance sheets.”
The new exterior style brings sophisticated ‘car design’ to the light commercial vehicle segment, conveying a strong sense of dynamism, quality, safety and robustness. The all-new front end features new Daytime Running Lights with optional LEDs and a bold new grille design, as well as a new three-part front bumper which helps to reduce repair costs.
The new Ducato boasts class-leading aerodynamics with CX values, despite its size, closer to a mid-size saloon than a commercial vehicle. This further contributes to the efficiency of the vehicle.
Inside, the new Fiat Ducato offers a comfortable, attractive and superbly functional cabin environment. New seats offer car-like comfort levels across the range, while technology upgrades, like the new award-winning Uconnect five-inch colour touchscreen infotainment unit, offer new levels of usability.
