The new Hilux model is a standard grade 4WD extra cab ute with a 3.0 litre turbo diesel engine and a five-speed manual transmission.
“We have been negotiating to secure this new model for some time, so this is a great win for us. The light truck market in New Zealand is very diverse and this new truck means we’ll be able to meets the needs of more business and private customers,” says Toyota New Zealand General Manager of Sales and Operations, Steve Prangnell.
All Hiluxs come with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as standard while all 4WD double cab models now have Vehicle Stability Control (VSC).
