The new Lancia Stratos has been in development since late 2008. It’s based on a shortened Ferrari 430 Scuderia chassis and power comes from a Ferrari V8 engine.
The one-off car, with a rigid carbon fiber bosy, is being built by Pininfarina for Michael Stoschek, a wealthy German businessman.
Even though the car will have modern touches, like LED lighting, it will primarily be a new take on 1970’s-era “futuristic” designs. For example, the instrument cluster combines analog dials with classic style digital readouts.
The cluster shows a redline of about 9000rpm, and a speedo that peaks at 360km/h.
