New limited edition Commodore GTR coming to NZ

To coincide with the launch of MY15 VF Commodore along with the celebration of 60 years in New Zealand the iconic car brand has created a Limited Edition Commodore GTR.

Holden New Zealand general manager of marketing, Marnie Samphier, says the GTR has been developed after customer feedback suggested they were looking for something different.

“Commodore owners want the latest and greatest and something slightly different. The GTR is exactly that and it really does stand out from the standard SV6 for that touch of uniqueness,” Marnie Samphier says.

“We try to listen to what our customers want so we have created the Commodore GTR that takes the SV6 to another level with each limited edition GTR based on a highly specced SV6.”

Just 100 Commodore GTR’s will be built and every car will be individually numbered under the bonnet. Each GTR will also come with a numbered certificate to verify authenticity.

GTR comes in three exterior colour options:

• Red Hot
• Heron White
• Nitrate Silver

GTR additional specs include:

• Genuine 20inch forged alloy wheels in gloss black with Bridgestone Potenza tyres.
• Black racing strips and black highlights
• Black lip spoiler.
• Holden branded sill plates.
• GTR branded carpet floor mats
• GTR embossed front headrests
• GTR and 60th anniversary badges

The new GTR will be limited to 100 units in one body style, the Sedan, and will be available in limited colours.
