Nissan has released the first official image of the upcoming 2009 370Z Coupe, which is set to make its world debut at next month’s Los Angeles Auto Show.
The 370Z is the first full redesign of the Nissan Z since the introduction of the previous generation model back in 2003.
You’ll be able to “drive” the new Z car… well, in the virtual world for now. It features in the new EA racing game, Need for Speed: Undercover, which goes on sale here on 21 November.
The main difference the introduction of Nissan’s latest 3.7L V6 engine. This is the same engine as found in the Infiniti G37 Coupe, where it develops up to 330hp (246kW) and 366Nm (270lb-ft) of torque. Power levels for the engine in the 370Z are rumored to be up around 350hp (261kW), and there is also talk that Nissan may offer a dual-clutch gearbox as an option.
