Though Nissan has said little about the planned replacement for the 200SX which is popular with aftermarket tuner car fans and drift racers, indications of what the car might have been like were provided by the Foria coupe concept of 2005 and the roadster Urge compact unveiled in 2006 (both pictured at right).
Axing the 200SX programme is part of a raft of cutbacks that follow the company’s announced financial difficulties, Nissan says it will also cut jobs worldwide.
