The 2011 Nissan X-Trail will come with a redesigned front grille, bumper and headlamps, plus LEDs in the tailights, new aluminium wheels and a choice of seven body colours when it goes on sale in Japan in late July.
Inside , there will be a new display system, larger meters and new materials and colours. There will be a glove box with heating and cooling functions.
The 4WD version will feature a new Advanced Hill Descent Control system, which allows the driver to set a desired driving speed arbitrarily within the range from 4km/h to 15km/h, depending on the degree of hill grade.
Engine specifications were not changed, except for the addition of a new 6-speed auto transmission for the diesel-powered 20GT model.
