Mitsubishi will unveil its Pajero Sport SUV at the Moscow motor show in Russia next month.
The new SUV will be phased into selected regions, including Russia, the ASEAN area, the Middle East, Latin America and Oceania starting later this year.
It will be sold here as the Challenger.
It is available with five or seven seats and has a waterproof luggage compartment floor.
It will be powered by a choice of three engines: 2.5-litre and 3.2-litre common rail direct injection diesels and a 3.5-litre petrol V6.
The Pajero Sport’s body is mounted on a new ladder frame and the vehicle will use the Super Select 4WD system, also fitted to the Pajero.
