Skoda will market the Yeti in four-wheel drive and front-wheel drive versions, the latter battling against Nissan’s highly-successful Qashqai.
Skoda is building the car on the Volkswagen Tiguan platform.
The Czech outfit will also show the 1.6-litre diesel Octavia GreenLine which it says is capable of 4.4 litres/100km fuel economy, and emits 116 grams/km of CO2.
The Octavia’s VW diesel motor uses a common-rail injection system, and develops 78kW.
