The Ferrari 458 Challenge has been officially revealed on track, decked out with racing stickers.

The Ferrari 458 Challenge is a non-street legal race version of the 458 Italia, and includes a modified F1 dual-clutch gearbox, an F1-Trac traction control system, a race suspension, an E-Diff electronic differential and high-performance Brembo CCM2 brakes.

The car has also been lightened, with thinner body panels and carbon fiber components.

The mid-rear mounted engine is a 4.5-litre (4497 cc) V8 producing 562hp (419 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque.

It beat the F430 Challenge on the Fiorano test track by two seconds – clocking a full lap in at 1 minute and 16.5 seconds.
