A new showroom is under development at 11 – 15 Great South Rd, Newmarket and is expected to be complete by late October 2011, conforming to the latest Rolls-Royce standards and accommodating the brand’s increasing product range. Prior to this, Team McMillan has provided owners of Rolls-Royce motor cars with a service facility and workshop for the last seven years.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Auckland will be led by Executive Chairman Bob McMillan, whose strong sales and after-sales team will be supported by the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ Asia Pacific team based in Singapore. The Rolls-Royce Motor Car factory is at Goodwood, West Sussex, England.
Speaking about the appointment, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ Asia Pacific Regional Director, Paul Harris said: “We have been assessing the New Zealand market for some time now and observe a car market which has definite potential for our cars. I am delighted to have been able to secure a partnership with Team McMillan which has nearly 30 years of experience in the luxury car business. This appointment is part of our regional expansion plan to create sustainable growth.”

Since Rolls-Royce commenced production in 2003, its range has expanded from Phantom to Phantom Extended Wheelbase, Phantom Drophead Coupé, Phantom Coupé and Ghost. A new model, Ghost Extended Wheelbase made its debut at Auto Shanghai and is available in limited numbers this year until full production begins in 2012.
