Kayne Scott has won the final, reverse grid, NZ V8s race at Pukekohe, taking the lead from fellow Ford Falcon driver in the closing laps.
Mark Porter was third in another Falcon. Interestingly all three drivers grew up in Hamilton.
Best-placed Holden Commodore driver was Andy Booth who held off a determined challenge from series leader and defending champion John McIntyre (Falcon).
McIntyre won the weekend, from Paul Manuell (Commodore) and Scott.
In the overall series McIntyre now leads from Scott and Booth with Manuell fourth.
