Skoda is adding to its crossover range with the Fabia Scout which debuts at next month’s Geneva motor show in Switzerland.

The wagon has uniquely-shaped bumper and plastic cladding which Skoda says give the vehicle “enhanced, robust features.” It also gets silver roof rails.

Skoda is offering four engine choices – two petrol and two diesel – ranging from a 1.4-litre 63kW petrol motor to the top-of-the-range 1.9-litre diesel developing 77kW.

Scout-specific upholstery brings the Scout styling to the interior along with floormats bearing the Scout logo.

The Fabia Scout is fitted with 16-inch specially-designed alloy wheels.

There’s no word yet on whether the Fabia Scout will be sold in New Zealand.
