Available in both front- and all-wheel drive versions, the Suzuki Kizashi will initially be offered with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine linked to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
Suzuki says that other powertrain options are also under development for the Kizashi, including a fuel efficient hybrid version.
The Kizashi features MacPherson struts up front and a multi-link setup in the back.
The Kizashi measures in at 4650mm long, 1820mm wide and 1480mm high with a wheelbase of 2700mm.
Inside there are standard sports seats and a smart swooping dashboard. Safety equipment includes eight standard airbags, ESP, anti-lock brakes, projector beam headlamps and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
More details are expected to be released closer to the sedan’s American sales launch in December. Suzuki has yet to announce when the Kizashi will arrive in other international markets.
