Just launched in New Zealand, the 2.4-litre Suzuki Kizashi outscored every vehicle in AutoPacific’s 2010 Vehicle Satisfaction Award.

The survey questioned 42,000 owners to see how satisfied they were with the new cars they purchased.

The Kizashi scored 99 points higher than the industry average of 666 among all new cars in the survey.

“This is an amazing result for Suzuki,” said AutoPacific’s president, George Peterson. “Kizashi is Suzuki’s most important vehicle (in the USA), and this performance in our research is exceptional.

“Suzuki hasn’t had the kind of marketing muscle to promote it,” said Peterson. “As a result, it remains a sort of secret among car writers and enthusiasts who have got to know it.”

New Zealand and Australia are among the first countries to introduce the largest four-door sedan model yet from Suzuki.

“It is providing a luxury standard at a far from luxury price,” said Tom Peck, General Manager of Marketing for Suzuki New Zealand Ltd.
