NZ-based Australian V8 Supercar series outfit, Team Kiwi Racing, finished its new workshop and race headquarters in Hamilton, and will be open to visits by the public at weekends.

TKR moved from Auckland to Hamilton in the middle of the year.

“The new facility is all but complete which is a great relief and can now be opened to the public,” says owner David John.

“We have many of the race cars TKR have campaigned here on show, including our first-ever race car, the Championship winning TKR Pit Stop Nissan Primera and at the other end of the spectrum, the Holden V8 Supercar that was written off at Bathurst last year.”

John says the new Hamilton headquarters will allow the public to see the operation up close.

“We will also have a full merchandise store on site that will allow for the public to come on in see the cars, grab a light refreshment and pick up the latest TKR official merchandise at the same time”

The TKR Hamilton headquarters will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am until 4pm at 677 Te Rapa Road.
