The EV will share Toyota’s stand with the production version of the 2010 Prius, the next generation version of the best-selling hybrid.
Toyota’s terse teaser media release – just two sentences long – gave no hint of what size the EV will be or whether it will be a version of an existing car. There’s speculation that it will be similar in size to Chevrolet’s Volt electric car which is due to go on sale here in 2012.
