A dynamic new future for Ford Racing

“Racing is in the blood of Ford Motor Company”, says the GM of Ford Performance, Will Ford. “So as from today, Ford Performance will become Ford Racing” he said.
“This is much more than a simple rebranding. This marks the reintroduction of our racing brand. It also signals a new way of thinking about the business, brand, and products we bring to life.”
The new Ford Racing organization will bring the company’s road and race operations closer than ever. Under one leader, the engineers, designers and aerodynamicists will find solutions for the track and bring them to Ford’s road products, and vice versa. This ensures the best products, technologies and experiences get to Ford customers.
This name change re-emphasizes the core mission of the company. It reminds people of why Ford is so passionate about racing. That’s to infuse the technological innovations we derive from racing into the products that Ford’s customers can drive every day.
The changes will appear first in company logos and naming, with the full Ford Racing identity coming to life in January at Dakar, Daytona, and a Ford Racing Season Launch Event.
Ford Racing will continue to compete at the highest levels of motorsports. The Blue Oval will be in front of a global audience like never before. Think F1, Dakar, Le Mans, Bathurst and Daytona. And Ford Racing is going in with the same goal as always… to win them all.
