eBay unveils a set of Need For Speed-inspired cars for SEMA

eBay has unveiled the eBay Most Wanted Collection, a set of four cars inspired by popular gaming franchise Need For Speed.

Despite the Need For Speed likeness of the press images, and the ‘Most Wanted’ name, eBay seems to have no official connection with the franchise.

The collection will debut at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas next week, where they will be auctioned off.

The auction will be co-hosted by actor and car enthusiast Sung Kang and automotive creator Hertrech “Hert” Eugene Jr. Bidding on each vehicle opens at just US$6.

The four vehicles are:

• The South Beach Supercar: 2022 Chevrolet Corvette C8
• The Street Icon: 2006 Dodge Viper
• The Classic Getaway: 1992 BMW 325i Convertible
• The Hot Pink Hi-Riser: 1975 Chevrolet Nova

All four were sourced on eBay, and select cars have been customised with parts and accessories from the marketplace.

eBay Live Vice President and General Manager Jesse Kiefer said the company has helped enthusiasts find their dream vehicles and parts for 30 years, and the collection shows “what’s possible through the eBay marketplace.”

Kang said he was proud to be involved, noting that cars are about community as much as driving. He added that the charitable element, supporting Susan G. Komen, made the project “even more meaningful.”
