Farizon New Zealand has announced pricing for its new V7E van, which starts from $55,990 locally.

With this announcement, the brand’s local distribution arm claims the V7E brings price parity to the commercial van market.

Powered by a 67kWh battery, the V7E is capable of travelling up to 329km on a single charge, according to WLTP testing.

This battery powers a single electric motor located on the front axle, which produces 100kW and 230Nm of torque.

It can be charged using a DC fast charger at a maximum rate of 97kW, which will replenish 20 to 80 per cent in 30 minutes.

On the inside, it gets a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity.

The rear load space offers seven cubic metres of cargo space, and can carry a payload of up to 1,243kg.

There are sliding doors on both sides to aid with loading, and it is rated to a maximum braked towing capacity of 1000kg.

The V7E is backed by a 5-year/200,000km vehicle warranty, an 8-year/200,000km battery warranty, and 12-month/20,000km service intervals.

The V7E is available to order in New Zealand now, through the Farizon dealer network.
