Ford ups prices across Everest range, introduces new entry-level model

Words: Andrew Sluys

Ford New Zealand has announced pricing for the new Everest range, which has dropped the Everest Trend.

Replacing the Everest Trend, which used to be Ford’s cheapest three-SUV SUV, the Everest Active is now the most cost-effective model.

This Everest Active starts from $68,990, and is powered by Ford’s 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

Other standard equipment includes leather-accented seats, a 12-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, 18-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass, and LED headlights.

“The Everest continues to be a Kiwi favourite with its five-star safety, three and a half tonne towing and go-anywhere adventure capability.  In 2025, it was the number one selling large SUV in the country for the third year in a row,” said Mathew Slade, Marketing Director, Ford New Zealand.

“The introduction of the Everest Active allows us to build on this incredible momentum by offering a fresh, bold personality at the entry point of the range. It’s a vehicle that doesn’t compromise on presence or essential features. By listening to our customers, we’ve refined the line-up to ensure that from the Active through to the Platinum, every Everest provides the capability, safety, and technology New Zealanders expect from a premium SUV.”

Alongside this new model, Ford New Zealand has also announced the availability of two new colours, in Acacia Green and Alabaster White.

These join the existing options, and will be available on the Everest from mid-2026.

Aside from the new entry-level model, which is cheaper than the last, prices across the rest of the range have increased by around $2,000 for each model.
