Gordon Murray Automotive has confirmed it will be bringing a four-strong line-up of its vehicles to this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The group will be headlined by the first customer T.50s Niki Lauda, which will run up the iconic driveway.
The T.50s honors Murray’s first Formula One victory in 1974 at Kyalami, wearing a South African flag‑inspired livery as a tribute to driver Carlos Reutemann.
Though the T.50s Niki Lauda will be the only GMA car to run up the hill, there are three other engineering masterpieces that will be on display.
The first of which is the S1 LM, which only made its debut in Las Vegas last year. It’s the first time the public will get to see this S1 LM after it sold for over $34 million at auction.
Then there’s the Gordon Murray Le Mans GTR XP1, which is an experimental prototype previewing an ultra-exclusive production run.
And finally, the T.33 Spider will also make an appearance, which will be the first time it has been shown to the public.
This drop-top speedster pairs a six-speed manual transmission with a 3.9-litre V12 for maximum aural pleasure.
Speaking on the brand’s upcoming showcase at Goodwood, Gordon Murray sounds very excited to show the world his creations:
“In just six years since we unveiled the T.50, the team has designed, developed, manufactured and delivered 100 customer cars to owners around the world. We’ve also started building T.50s, while T.33 and T.33 Spider are well through development, ahead of production.
“Alongside this, we have created an even more specialised range of vehicles that explore the limits of our design and engineering philosophy – it is a privilege to develop lightweight, beautifully engineered supercars for our customers and to share them with enthusiasts.”
