Motorsport Diary: Kiwis racing overseas this weekend

It’s yet another action-packed weekend of motorsport this weekend. 

Kicking things off in the US is Nascar racing at Sonoma Raceway. SVG returns to road course action, contesting both the NASCAR Xfinity and Cup Series races. 

Meantime, Scott Dixon, Scott McLaughlin, and Marcus Armstrong are gearing up for Round 11 of the IndyCar Series, a doubleheader at Iowa Speedway.

In electric racing, Mitch Evans and Nick Cassidy head to Berlin’s Tempelhof Airport for a Formula E doubleheader. 

And over in Brazil, Brendon Hartley and Earl Bamber take on the 6 Hours of São Paulo in the World Endurance Championship.

On two wheels, Cormac Buchanan tackles the German Grand Prix at Sachsenring as Moto3 enters round 11. 

Back in Australia, Townsville plays host to a bumper program at the Supercars Townsville 500. Kiwis in the action include Matt Payne, Ryan Wood, Andre Heimgartner, Richie Stanaway, and Jaxon Evans.
