The latest issue of NZ Autocar, March 2025, is out now, and we name our Car of the Year along with all the class winners. There is also reviews of the Corvette Z06, Bentley Continental GT Speed, Lotus Emeya S and so much more. Find out what else is in the issue below.

Car of the Year

We gather the best cars of the past year to see which one rises to the top as the overall NZ Autocar Car of the Year for 2024.

Chevrolet Corvette Z06

We strap into the Corvette Z06, the track-honed special with a gem of an engine. Despite a big price tag, could it be deemed good value in the realm of super sports cars?

Lotus Emeya S

Here’s something different from Lotus, a four-door super sedan. Is it worthy of the famous badge?

Bentley Continental GT Speed

Bentley is embracing electrification, its ‘ultra performance’ hybrid making the Continental GT Speed the most potent and quickest model yet.

Peugeot 3008 Hybrid GT

Hybrids currently seem to be the next big thing, all over again. Peugeot’s sassy 3008 compact crossover features a small mild hybrid powertrain. How’s it go?

BMW 120 M Sport & M135 xDrive

They might look alike superficially but the marque’s entry-level 120 and harder-edged M135 are for rather different buyers.

Ford Raptor Trio

We travel to the Dubai desert to check out the F-150, Bronco and Ranger Raptor models in the type of environment that they were built to conquer.

Zoomin Z1 e-bike

We check out a surprisingly affordable e-bike, one that you could win too.

Mercedes-AMG G 63

The G 63 is now a hybrid of sorts. But don’t let that fool you; it’s still one wicked wagon.

Mercedes-Benz CLE 300 4MATIC Cabriolet

We catch some rays behind the wheel of the newest Benz drop top, the CLE.

LDV T60 Max Plus 4×4

LDV has updated its T60 with some must have items. Does it now represent the best value in the ute market?

Ford Mach-e GT

We wrap up our time with Ford’s blue bolter.

1986 Toyota Corolla GT

The hot-hatch revolution never really kicked off here like it did in Europe. Nonetheless, TNZ developed the ripper little Corolla GT, ensuring Kiwi’s had their own slice of hot-hatch heaven.

BMW R12

Part of the reason people buy cruisers is for the look, and if styling matters then BMW’s new R 12 should grab your attention.

Bike of the Year

It’s that time of the year again. We choose the top six motorcycles reviewed in 2024, and select one that’s the cream of the crop.
