This $6 million dollar German hypercar hides a Ferrari heart
Words: Andrew Sluys
As far as toys targeted at the world’s mega-wealthy, things don’t get much more wild than the cars built by Apollo.
The German brand’s latest creation is no exception, as it cannot be driven on public roads, yet it costs more than $6 million.

Dubbed the Apollo Evo, this hypercar has taken a number of years to be revealed in full production form, but this is it in all its glory.
As is the case with other Apollo cars, the overall aesthetic is something you’d expect to see in a video game, not at your local track day.

Beneath the wild exterior, this Evo makes use of a 6.3-litre Ferrari V12, which not only revs to 8,500rpm, but makes north of 600kW.
Built around a carbon fiber monocoque, the whole vehicle tips the scales at just 1.3-tonnes.

As for performance? The numbers match the Evo’s whole vibe. It will hit 100km/h in 2.7-seconds, before hitting a top speed of 335km/h.
On the inside, the Evo is a stripped-back affair with the exposed structural panels making up elements of the dash.

It creates a wild combination of carbon fibre, aluminium, and a lot of buttons, that wouldn’t look out of place inside Batman’s tumbler.
Apollo only plans to build ten of these Evos, and we can’t imagine they’ll have any trouble moving this limited stock.
