Elon Musk promises Tesla Roadster buyers a loop track to test its capabilities

Tesla CEO has taken to X (formerly Twitter) to dispel some rumours surrounding the recently unveiled Roadster, and make some big promises.
Late last week, the second-generation Roadster made its long-awaited public debut, delivering on the wild performance claims Musk has mentioned previously.
As well as blistering performance (0.9 second 0-100kmh) the Roadster demonstrated its thrusters, which can be used to make the car fly and perform stunts.
One of these stunts (which was shown at the unveiling) was the Roadster’s ability to drive upside down, thanks to the thrusters.
It reportedly uses a combination of the cold air thrusters, paired with fans beneath the car, to essentially suck it to the floor.

It was demonstrated using a large half loop at SpaceX’s facility in Texas, something that most normal people won’t have access to.
To solve this problem, Musk has said buyers of the Roadster will have access to a loop track where they can test their vehicles’ upside down performance.
“We will have a wild looping track (crazier even than Hot Wheels) at our Texas HQ where you can test out your Roadster,” he said on X.

This was in response to someone pointing out the fact drivers won’t actually be in control of the Roadster when it is performing such stunts.
“Just remember you aren’t actually driving the Roadster at all. You are driving a computer and it is telling another computer how to drive the car. It is steer by wire. Brake by wire. Accelerate by wire,” the poster said.
In response to this, Elon said: “True. You will be able to ask the Roadster to perform any of the tricks shown autonomously, as it will be sentient.”
So as well as being able to outperform almost every single vehicle on Earth performance-wise, this Roadster will reportedly be sentient.
