Limited-edition Toyota GR Yaris Aero Performance Package arrives in New Zealand

Toyota New Zealand has confirmed the new GR Yaris Aero Performance Package is now available locally.
It marks the first performance package to be offered on the GR Yaris beyond the regular hot hatch.
Toyota notes that this package has been developed through thousands of hours of motorsport testing.
The package includes six functional components that improve the aerodynamics of the GR Yaris.
These are a variable rear spoiler, fender ducts, front lip spoiler, rear bumper ducts, full‑floor undercover and hood bulge.
A new steering wheel is also included as part of the package, which reportedly provides improved feedback to the driver.
The package is available on both automatic transmission and manual-equipped models.
Speaking on the performance package, Toyota New Zealand Chief Strategic Officer Andrew Davis said it reflects the brand’s enthusiast-focused beliefs.
“GR has always been about how a car performs and how it makes you feel when you’re behind the wheel. Every element of this package exists for a reason, shaped by performance on the track and refined through real driver feedback.”

Toyota New Zealand notes a limited number of these models will be coming to New Zealand, and start from $65,990 for the manual, and $68,990 for the auto.
