Toyota New Zealand has announced pricing for the 2026 BZ4X line-up, which now consists of three models instead of two.
On top of the existing bZ4X Pure and Motion models, Toyota New Zealand has added the Touring variant, which now sits atop the range.

Prices have remained almost identical for the Pure at $56,990, and the Motion at $66,990, despite a bigger 74.7kWh battery adding increased range.
The single motor, front-wheel drive bZ4X Pure is now rated to 591km off a single charge, and the dual-motor, all-wheel drive bZ4X can achieve 517km, according to WLTP testing.
As for power figures, the Pure gets a modest bump to 167kW, while the Motion gains an additional 95kW for a peak output of 255kW.

Standard equipment includes a 14.0-inch infotainment display in both models, and a 1500 watt power outlet in the rear cargo area.
On the outside, the Pure rides on 18-inch alloy wheels, while the Motion gets 20-inch wheels with aero covers.
Starting from $69,990, the bZ4X Touring is 140mm longer and 20mm taller than the standard model, and offers a “substantial increase in cargo space.”

Speaking of cargo space, the official figure in the Touring is 600 litres, which represents a 148-litre increase.
As an all-wheel drive model, it gets an electric motor on each axle, contributing to the peak power output of 280kW.
Toyota states that a WLTP range figure is not yet available, but we can imagine it will be somewhere in the region of the Motion with around 500km.
Both the all-wheel drive models are rated to tow up to 1500kg.
Toyota New Zealand has confirmed that these updated bZ4X models will be arriving in Autumn 2026.
