Volkswagen has revealed details of the upcoming all-electric ID. Polo hatch, which is set to be revealed in full early 2026.
As expected, the ID. Polo is a similar size to the regular petrol variant, but VW notes that due to the electric power, there is more space inside.

It will also come with the option of three electric motors, ranging from 85kW through to 155kW in standard form.
It’s noted that a GTI variant will follow with 166kW. All ID. Polo models will be front-wheel drive exclusively.

Where the lower grade variants will make use of a 37kWh battery, the higher spec models get a 52kWh battery.
As for charging, 90kW is the limit for the small one, and 130kW for the larger of the two.

Though no range figure is provided for the 37kWh battery, it’s noted that the 52kWh will provide up to 450km off a single charge.
Though Volkswagen hasn’t provided an exact date for the ID. Polo’s unveiling, the brand stated that it was just a “few months” away in its release.
