Zeekr unveils updated 7X SUV will more range and faster charging
Words: Richard Edwards
Zeekr has revealed an updated 7X for export markets at the Paris Motor Show, with more range, more power and faster charging for the electric SUV.
Zeekr says the updated 7X offers up to 627km of WLTP range, up to 680hp (500kW) and peak DC charging of 450kW, with a quoted charging time of 10.5 minutes. It stays on the 800-volt SEA platform. European deliveries begin in the first quarter of 2027, with prices starting at €52,990 in France.

The biggest change is a new Bosch-based driver assistance system using seven cameras and three radars, which adds adaptive cruise control and remote parking assist. Outside, there are new front and rear bumpers, 21-inch wheel designs and two new colours, Glacier Silver and Mystic Lilac. Inside, the centre console has been redesigned.
The range in Europe
According to CarNewsChina, the French line-up starts with the Core rear-wheel drive, which keeps a 75kWh lithium iron phosphate battery and gains power, rising from 310kW to 335kW. It is rated at 482km WLTP and costs €52,990.

The Long Range rear-wheel drive uses a 100kWh nickel manganese cobalt battery for the 627km figure, at €57,990. The all-wheel-drive Privilege version has 500kW, up from 470kW, reaches 100km/h in 3.7 seconds and is rated at 545km, at €64,990.
The export model misses out on some of the changes made to the Chinese 7X, where the entry car is moving to a larger 85kWh battery. It also does not get Geely’s more advanced G-Pilot driver assistance system.

What it means here
The 7X has been on sale in New Zealand since last November, priced from $69,990 to $94,990. The local entry car uses the same 75kWh battery for 480km WLTP, while the 100kWh long-range and all-wheel-drive versions are rated at 615km.
Zeekr New Zealand has not said when the updated 7X will arrive here. The brand recently opened its Auckland flagship and has confirmed the 7GT and 9X for New Zealand by early 2027.
