For sale is a beautifully restored 1952 Morris Oxford. It runs well and starts easily, but requires re-vinning because its registration lapsed several years ago. A mechanic completed a pre-VIN inspection and reported that the car is in good condition, although the brakes will need looking at, as they are “hard-push”. We were advised by the previous owner that the brakes were fully rebuilt as part of the restoration process. The car comes with its original ownership papers, other records, and numerous small parts. A dedicated enthusiast restored it over a period spanning 15 years.
The restoration was ground up, including new interior, reconditioned head, fully rewired, panel and paint including rotisserie, brakes rebuilt, new clutch, new exhaust, new radiator, and new battery. 4speed column shift. The car is in exceptional condition for a vehicle approaching 75 years in age. The only blemish is a small paint reaction on the rear guard (small bubbles) Chassis Number AMO 100277. The car was first registered in New Zealand in Hamilton on the 15th October 1952. Also comes with entitlement to Personalised Plate 1952 MO.
We have owned the vehicle for just over four years, being used mainly for display purposes. Viewing recommended. The vendor will look at all trades (up or down) preferably a classic car or a 4WD or any other interesting vehicle. Shipping nationwide door to door can be arranged.
