1963 Morris Mini

I've owned this wee baby for the past 36 years, it's been dry stored for at least the last 26 years. It's been in the family since new, having been first registered by Great Granny Colton, then sold to Auntie Susan and then me.

Rego lapsed when NZTA went digital but it's still in the system, just expired. Everything you need is there, plus a few extras. Last time I drove it, it had a burnt valve, needs a rebuild. The body is mostly rust free, tiny bit under the drivers feet. Upholstery is original and in tact. Dash is an after market sports dash, can be removed and put back to original easily. I purchased spare doors, bonnet and boot which are like new. This car just needs someone to have the time for a full restoration.

Design and History Revolutionary Layout: The sideways engine and integrated gearbox saved cabin space, allowing four adults to sit inside a tiny 10-foot body Twin Identity: It was sold identically as the Morris Mini Minor and the Austin Seven, differing only in badge details and radiator grilles. Global Production: It became an icon worldwide, and production soon expanded internationally.
