The completely redesigned 2026 Subaru Outback shifts towards a bolder, more traditional SUV silhouette while maintaining its core wagon-like practicality and symmetrical all-wheel drive. Features an increased height and width, a more upright nose, and squared-off wheel wells that give it a blockier, rugged aesthetic look. Practical cargo: The boxier shape provides a taller opening and a slightly larger, easier-to-load cargo area. Physical controls: Real HVAC climate controls make a welcome return alongside dual 12-inch infotainment screens with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Toxin-Free: Manufactured entirely without the toxic chlorine and PVC compounds commonly found in standard vinyl or older faux-leather materials. Rear passengers enjoy generous legroom (39.5 inches) and improved headroom.. Ride quality: Offers a compliant, soft, and well-sorted ride with great body control on both highways and rough dirt roads.
