Finding a GTI Dynamic is uncommon enough, but finding one with the 6-speed manual transmission is becoming increasingly rare in New Zealand. Most GTIs from this era were ordered with Volkswagen's DSG automatic gearbox, making manual examples highly sought after by enthusiasts who value driver engagement and long-term collectability.

The GTI Dynamic was a limited-specification model that combined the performance of the GTI with premium features such as Adaptive Chassis Control (DCC), making it one of the most desirable Mk7.5 GTI variants available. As manufacturers continue to move away from manual transmissions, well-maintained manual GTIs are becoming harder to source and are attracting growing interest from enthusiasts and collectors alike.
