Hennessey has unveiled the first Venom F5-M, which becomes the world’s most powerful manual-equipped hypercar.
Unlike most hypercars which use some form (if not all) of electric power to make mind-blowing amounts of power, the Venom is ICE-only.
As a testament to its US roots, this Venom F5-M features a 6.6-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that Hennessey calls ‘Fury’.
This engine produces a hefty 2,031hp (just shy of 1,500kW) which is sent exclusively to the rear wheels.
Arguably more remarkable is the fact it features a six-speed manual transmission, which is another anomaly in the hypercar segment.
More akin to other seven-figure hypercars, this Venom F5-M is finished with an extremely expensive paint job.
It features exposed purple carbon fibre across the body panels, with anodized gold accents to contrast.
This theme continues inside the Venom, where the purple carbon fibre is contrasted by white leather upholstery.
There’s also gold accents across the gated manual shifter and air vents, and it features a steering yoke instead of a wheel.
Hennessey has confirmed this Venom F5-M will be making its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
It will be driven up the hill by Alex Brundle, where it will compete against other seven-figure hypercars.
Speaking of pricing, Hennessey hasn’t confirmed how much this one cost, but US outlets estimate it to be around $4.6 million before taxes.
